What can you do to help free Mumia?

Help Get Out Information About Mumia Abu-Jamal: Please support Mumia and distribute leaflets. Download and Reproduce leaflets (download literature and print out) and hand them out at school, events, festivals, EL stops, train stations, or anyplace in your neighborhood or town. Call us to receive leaflets: 773/381-6507. One pick up point is downtown at the N&L offices at 36 S. Wabash, Rm. 1440 (generally areweekday/ daytime hours and some weekend/evening hours). Call them at 312/236-0799 to check.

Get involved: Plan teach-ins at schools and community centers, an union halls. Ask your organization to make support statements; Put pressure on local media to show the Arnold Beverly video confession; Participate in and plan actions for Mumia; Attend monthly meetings at 1455 S. Wabash. Call 773/381-6507 to find out time and date of next meeting.

Write the governor of Pennsylvania: Demand that he: 1) Refuse to sign a death warrant. 2) Do an independent investigation of Mumia’s case. 3) Unconditionally free Mumia because of innocence. Governor Mark Schweiker, 225 Main Capitol, Harrisburg, PA 17120.
